1. Saturday is spent having lunch with a good friend and catching up on all the news. There's even time to pop into the book store and also go grocery shopping.
2. Thanks to some good discounts, three new books sit on my shelf waiting to be read.
3. I get on the computer and find that this 3BT blog of mine has gained its very first follower. I'm surprised, touched and ecstatic all at once. Thank you Cathie!

Friends, football and volunteering
1. An evening out with good friends to watch a movie. My friends are wonderful and Black Swan is a chilling insight on mental illness.
2. Score! My football (ie. soccer) team wins. We have a date with destiny on Feb 27.
3. I agree to volunteer my time for a jewellery-making workshop for low-income mums. I'm terrified but secretly proud that I've worked up the nerve to do something outside of my comfort zone. It helps that it's for a good cause.
